Float Glass Line
A Float Glass Line continuously produces high-quality flat glass using the float glass process. Raw materials like sand, soda ash, and limestone are melted at ~1,500°C and poured onto a molten tin bath, where the glass spreads evenly, forming a smooth, uniform sheet. It then passes through an annealing lehr to control cooling and prevent internal stresses. Once cooled, the glass is cut into sheets for further processing or distribution. This process is widely used for windows, mirrors, automotive glass, and architectural glazing due to its efficiency and precision.
