Vacuum Filters Plays Vital Role in Protecting Vacuum System and Equipments

Most existing vacuum lifters and vacuum handling systems have vacuum filters installed. Over the years we have developed an large range of vacuum filters who should be installed in order to keep dirt and dust particles out of the vacuum system where they can cause malfunction of the system.

The size of vacuum filter ( ¼” up to 4” connection ) depends mostly of the size of vacuum generator in use. The installed vacuum filter should not reduce the flow of the vacuum generator (Vacuum pump, side channel blower or Venturi system ). The filter cartridge should be cleaned regularly in order to avoid malfunction of the system. Please watch the flow direction and right position when installing the vacuum filter.

The most common filter is the type BVF. The filter is made from sheet metal and powder coated. Installed is an replaceable filter cartridge which is easy to clean or if needed easy to replace. The connection thread starts with G 3/8” inside thread and goes up to G 4” inside thread. The BVF range covers 11 vacuum filters with flow range from 12 m³/h up to 1260 m³/h. Vacuum Filters in Use

The series BVF-D covers an range of 6 vacuum filters with connection from G 3/8” up to G 11/4”. They come with an additional installation which allow compressed air to be used for quick release as done when high speed release of the work piece is needed. Compressed air is used to break down the high vacuum in the system. Here the cover of the vacuum filter is the weak part. Due to an inner installation with treaded pin and installed flat knurled nut ( DIN 467 ) the cover is secured against short time pressure ( impulse pressure ) in the filter housing which occurs when using compressed air for quick ventilation.

Vacuum Filters in Use

Our series BVF-K are light weight filters with replaceable filter cartridge made of Polyethylene. The housing is made of PVC with an clear ( transparent ) filter housing. Installed is an replaceable filter cartridge which is easy to clean or if needed easy to replace. The connection thread starts with G 1/8” inside thread and goes up to G 3/4” inside thread. The BVF-K range covers 5 vacuum filters with flow range from 2,7 m³/h up to 35,7 m³/h. No Tools are needed to open and clean the vacuum filter. More details you find in our catalogue.

Vacuum Cup Filter Serie BVF-K

Fine filter type BFF are installed directly into thread of the connecting nipple or into the threaded hole of the suspension bolt or suction cup. There are 3 types available.
