Glass Suction Cups for Industrial Handling
Glass suction cups need to fit both the glass and the machine handling it. Eurotech supplies vacuum cups and suction plates for glass processing machines, automated transfer systems and vacuum lifting equipment.
Browse the models below by size, shape and material. If you are replacing an existing cup, send us its reference number, dimensions, mounting details and a few photos. We can help narrow down the options and identify what needs checking before a replacement is fitted.
Match the cup to the glass and the machine
The contact surface, workpiece dimensions and movement determine what needs to be checked. Identify the exact glass product, coating if present, available gripping face, handling direction and machine mounting before comparing a replacement.
A cup that fits the mounting can still differ in profile, compound, support or performance. For a replacement, include the original reference and photographs as well as the dimensions. Use the suction cup replacement finder to organize the enquiry.
For a production question, start with insulating-glass line applications or laminated-glass cutting. For coating contact and surface inspection, use the Low-E glass contact review. These guides help define the workpiece; the models below provide the component-selection route.

How to Choose Suction Cups for Glass Handling
Start with the surface the cup will touch and how the glass moves through the machine. A cup that works on one station may need a different lip profile, material or mounting arrangement at another.
Check the glass surface
Is the contact face smooth, coated, wet or textured? Dust and processing residue can affect sealing and leave marks. For coated glass, check the glass supplier’s handling instructions before choosing the contact material.
Compare the cup profile and material
Look at the sealing lip, support structure and available contact area, as well as the outside dimensions. Choose the material against the actual temperature, cleaning agents and wear conditions, using the individual product specifications.
Check the machine connection
Compare the thread, bolt pattern, base plate, working height and available clearance. For a replacement, photographs of the installed cup and its mounting face can help identify details that a diameter measurement misses.
Confirm the load and movement
Glass weight alone does not determine the required cup. Orientation, acceleration, friction, cup arrangement and operating vacuum all matter. Confirm the selection against the equipment manufacturer’s requirements for the complete handling system.

Replacing Suction Cups on an Existing Machine?
Matching the outside diameter is only the first check. Two cups of the same size can have different effective suction areas, lip profiles and working heights. A replacement also needs to suit the mounting arrangement and the way the machine handles the glass.
Use the replacement finder to narrow down candidates. Have the machine make and model, existing cup reference, dimensions and mounting photos ready so the remaining compatibility checks can be reviewed.
Dealing with Suction Cup Marks on Glass?
A ring where a cup touched the glass does not always have the same cause. Residue, a difference in how water wets the surface and physical damage need different responses. Check the cup, the contacted face and the cleaning process before changing the contact material.
Where direct elastomer contact is contributing to visible marks, a suitable nonwoven cover may help. MTC suction cup covers fit over compatible cups or suction plates. They need to stay clean, and the covered setup must be assessed for the intended load and movement.

Need Help Choosing a Glass Suction Cup?
Send us a few details about the application. For an existing machine, photos of the cup in place, its contact face and its mounting connection are useful.
- Machine make and model, if available
- Existing suction cup reference and dimensions
- Glass dimensions, weight and contacted surface
- Handling orientation and movement
- Photos or drawings of the cup and mounting arrangement
If some details are unknown, send what you have. We can identify what else is needed to review the options.
