O que é um elevador de vácuo?

A vacuum lifter is an industrial handling device that uses vacuum suction cups or suction plates to securely grip and move workpieces. Depending on the system design, vacuum lifters can be used for horizontal or vertical lifting, rotating, pivoting, positioning, and transferring materials.

A typical system consists of suction cups or plates, a vacuum generator or pump, mounting elements, controls, and safety components. When vacuum is generated between the suction cup and workpiece, the resulting pressure difference creates the holding force required for lifting.

The required lifter configuration depends on the workpiece weight, dimensions, surface condition, handling direction, movement, and required safety factor.
