Tube Lifters for Boxes and Bags

Vacuum Tube Lifters for Boxes and Bags

Frequent handling of cardboard boxes and bags calls for more than a payload number. The suction tool, package surface, pick-up height, vacuum supply and moving system all affect the final solution. EUROTECH’s eT-Lift range offers compact one-hand tube lifting for repeated pick-and-place work, with configurations for different loads and reach.

Which eT-Lift configuration fits your handling task?

eT-Lift-miniCompact, repeated handling of smaller boxes and similar loads with one-hand operation. The 2026 catalogue lists 20, 30, 45 and 65 kg models. Confirm the chosen suction tool, package dimensions and complete configuration.

Boxes and bags need different gripping checks

A cardboard box may be picked with a round suction cup or lifting beam, depending on its top surface, rigidity, dimensions and weight. A bag can deform and leak around its surface; the eT-Lift accessory range includes oval bag suction pads with a sponge-rubber seal and internal support. EUROTECH should confirm the actual package, fill level and gripping face before selecting a tool.

Repetition also matters. Note the number of lifts per hour, the distance between pick-up and drop-off, and whether loads are taken from the floor, a conveyor, a pallet or a high stack. A pillar jib crane or lightweight overhead crane can provide the required horizontal travel. Vacuum generation may use a pump, blower or ejector depending on the model and available utilities. See vacuum handling for logistics and warehouses for the broader application context.

Prepare a useful application inquiry

  • Workpiece type, maximum weight, dimensions and a photo of the gripping surface.
  • Whether boxes are sealed and rigid, or bags are porous, flexible or unevenly filled.
  • Pick-up and drop-off heights, stack height, travel distance and lifts per hour.
  • Available electrical or compressed-air supply and the preferred crane or suspension system.
  • Any need to pivot a load, protect a sensitive surface or change tools between products.

Common selection questions

Can one tube lifter handle both boxes and bags?

It may be possible with suitable interchangeable tools, but the gripping interface and vacuum flow must be checked for each package type. Do not assume that the tube’s rated payload is also the rating of every attachment.

When should I consider eT-Lift-flexi?

Consider it when the operator must pick from a tall stack or high shelf. The longer handle changes the working reach; EUROTECH should confirm the available headroom and lifting stroke at both ends of the move.
